Essential Job Functions

• Clean guest rooms according to Marriott standards within specified time frame.

• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities in rooms.

• Disinfect & polish furniture & fixtures; dust furniture, walls, and equipment.

• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping.

• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.

• Present guest lost & found items according to hotel policy.

• Follow cleanliness protocol and sustainability guidelines for Courtyard by Marriott.

• Practice safe work habits, wear personal protective equipment and follow safety guidelines.

• Assist in other areas of housekeeping department when short staffed or high occupancy.

• Perform any other tasks requested by management.

• Greet guests when passing them in public areas.

• Able to work weekends is a must.

Position Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.

• Able to work effectively in a team setting.

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends.

• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds, and use of disinfecting chemicals.'
